This should be a rather interesting day. . . it will be our first holiday without ma. I just remember the first holiday without Papa & how rough it was on everyone & that was almost 6 months prior to any holiday. . . I feel like as long as no one else has a rough day, I won't. but the minute that someone mentions it, it could be a tough day.
Hence why I'm greatful for my family because even if it's them who mentions it, they will be that very solid rock upon which I too, can lean. & beyond them, great friends & thier families who have also taken the liberty to make sure that I eat wayyyyy more than I need to today.
So Happy Thanksgiving. May your day be filled with delicious turkey, great deserts & may you share yours with amazing people, for whom you are greatful for :)
