oh you know, catching you up. . .

ok, so there's a certain group of people who are pretty prevelant & important in my life. . .& are worth mentioning here. . for those of you who may not know them. . . .since we're starting with the basics & all. . .i figured it was only right to fill you in on names you will most likely hear often.

1.) the lovely face in my header. that, is my mother. She is quite possibly one of the best people I have ever known & i love her very dearly. & for those of you who don't know, she had been diagnosed with lung cancer January of 2008 & just recently fell victim to the nasty disease. It's never easy to lose a best friend, but even harder when one of your best friends is your mother.

2.) the four other people in the following photo: Dad, Scott, Matthew & Tish. They are all key to my existence. Without any of them i don't know that i would've made it through this past year & for all of them i am incredibly thankful.


3.) onto people who's photo's did not get posted permanently on my blog. . . & in no particular order. . . Matt

clearly a character, but couldn't ask for a better one. he's the definition of a good time & will do about anything to make you smile when he knows you need it most & that's probably the best part about him, that & he takes care of me & my car, both which need looking after from time to time. Now he comes with a second half. . .& that's Rob.

now you see why they go together. . both of equal unique-ness. But much like his counterpart, Rob is a diehard friend & takes exceptional care of me as well.

4.) now to my lovely lady friends. each one of the following provides me support in a different way, but most days i think it would be hard to function without one of them on a long term basis.

Amy & Caitlin are two of my longest standing girlfriends. I have known Amy since summer before junior year of high school & Caitlin since pre-school, that's right we've known eachother for 20 years. . . a long time in my book. While i may not always see them, they are dear to my heart.
& then there's tara, my dear, sweet, tara. I would for sure be lost without her (& her boo, Jason). I don't even know where to begin to describe her wonderful-ness, but if you've had any sort of encounter with her, i'm sure you've seen it & you understand.

now then, this is not to discount anyone else i may not have included in this list of important people, because trust me, i discovered this weekend just how many of you are so very important & how important i must be to you, it's just if i listed everyone, i'd be here for a very long time. . . .

. . . .& to be quite honest, now i'm tired, my contacts are stuck my eyes & i have a sinus headache, therefore i leave you tonight with that & that alone. granted Tish is probably the only one who reads this as of now, eventually i'll get around to including the rest of the family, perhaps by sticking myself on the Switzer Family Blog? http://familyswitzer.blogspot.com/
